"Just thought I would let you know how Eddie and Susie are getting on, I have attached the long awaited photo. Eddie is no longer agraphobic, he loves going out, the first time we let them out he was the more confident out of the two of them, there is a tree next door that some thrushes have been nesting in, and the cats had been watching them from the window, it wasn't long before they both climbed up the tree, I was glad I put bells on them, the birds did get away and have not come back, Eddie still climbs up the tree and sits in the nest, where as Susie just climbs to check out the view. They do climb over the fence to have a wander, but they do not go very far, when I call them to come in, threatening to close the door, they both come running. Eddie still sleeps on my pillow at night, he is getting bigger now and is taking up more pillow, when he stretches out, my husband gets kicked in the head. Susie has settled in very well, she enjoys a fuss, but it has to be on her terms, but she does enjoy a good purr. She tends to sleep on landing during the night, before Eddie came she did sleep on the bed, once he came she stopped. When we put the children to bed at night, I have to bring Susie down stairs, otherwise she will meow and scratch outside my daughters door for her to open it and give here a fuss. I am convinced that Eddie is part goat, he will eat anything, if I let him. Where as Susie is more lady like and eats what she should. When I am cooking dinner and dishing it up, they are both in the kitchen keeping me company, not very safe though as they lay in the middle of the floor and I have to step over them." |
